Denman Prospect Astronomy Themed Playground

The astronomy themed playground is a part of a larger redevelopment to Denman Village Park. An elevated boardwalk leads to a 9m tall dome observatory constructed via a grid of steel flat plate elements.
The flat plate elements are designed to ensure the structure is as light-weight as possible, whilst limiting buckling to the slender plate elements.
